Following the 2019 annual meeting on September 7, we hiked to BNRC’s newest acquisition, Alford Springs North off West Road. A short ten-minute walk brought us to a fine overlook. A beautiful day with good company!

After our 2017 annual meeting, Bridghe McCracken, founder of Helia Native Nurseries (www.helianativenursery.com/about) spoke about using native plants in landscaping to attract diverse native birds and butterflies. Bridghe has a seed bank from which she propagates native plants at her Sky Meadow Farm on East Road.
