When a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it does it make any noise? Well, that I don’t know, but what I do know is that when a tree falls in Elizabeth’s Woods it will fall across one of our trails! Fortunately we have some loyal, capable volunteers who help to keep our trails open. Most recently the Alford Fire Department ran a search and rescue training in Elizabeth’s Woods which included clearing several windfalls from the trails.
