Our 2018 annual meeting will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 8, at Alford Town Hall. This year Molly Comstock, founder of Colfax Farm will speak about CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture), and her experiences starting and operating a successful organic vegetable farm. You may have seen Molly at the West Stockbridge Farmers’ Market with her bountiful produce. She has recently moved her work to Twin Oaks Farm here in Alford. Molly has been farming for ten years in Berkshire and Columbia Counties, and is looking forward to establishing a long-term base here in Alford. Following the talk we will have an opportunity to tour her operation at Twin Oaks Farm on West Road.
